E-bike ride from Verona: a deliciously sporty adventure

Pedal through the ancient streets and squares of Verona, discovering the most fascinating corners of the city. A tour combining sport and relaxation with authentic local flavours. Circle the crenellated walls of the mediaeval Castelvecchio, the most important Veronese military monument, then head for the Castelvecchio Bridge, which connects the castle to the other side of the Adige River. Leaving the centre behind, set off for the Torricelle, the gentle hills north of Verona, named for the watchtowers that once stood guard over the city. Pedal slowly through the verdant landscape, past ancient villas, cobbled streets, small churches and Amarone vineyards. Stop at a typical inn to enjoy an aperitivo, complete with local wines and delicacies, including Valpolicella reds and Monte Veronese cheese.
